Glen Turnbull Raises raises £866 for the Scorchers

Remember all those wet weekends in June when most of us were at home cursing the fact that we could not get out into the garden, get the BBQ fired up or enjoy a decent round of golf??  Well one of the Scorchers parents, Glen Turnbull was undertaking a challenge to ride from Scotton to the west coast and back again in just 2 days.  That is an incredible 307 miles in 2 days on 2 wheels over some of the toughest roads in Great Britain, in some of the worst weather that the summer produced to raise money for the club!  

This is a fantastic effort which was rewarded with £866 in sponsorship which Glen has very kindly donated to the club in support of the on-going fund raising to complete the pavilion.
