The Cricket Club arrived en-mass and on foot through the car park and looked like they had managed to acquire a few new signings for their next season!!
They certainly hadn't come to lose.
The Coaches/Parents were warmed up very professionally by our Level 2 coach Mike Baker and I think this proved to be the difference between the 2 sides. (Just a different level of proffesionalism!!!)
It was a closely fought match played in a great spirit just as the cricket match a few weeks before had been played and I think the youth of young Joel running at men 3/4 times his age was the main reason the Scorchers came out 5or6 to 2 goals winners.
Well done to all who played and a big thankyou to all helped make the day another great success.
So the scores for the 2012 Scorchers V Scotton CC challenge ended this year in a 1 all draw. (Golf anyone?)
