Saturday 11th november saw a determined girls team turn out against Tockwith and walk away with a very respectable 0.0 draw and a set of parents full of Ooohs and Aaahs. They played 3x15 minute games, the first third saw Hannah, Rebecca and Rhiannon trouble their defence but were unable to break through. While Emma, Sam and Kirstie kept a clean sheet at the back. The second third saw Georgina and Hannah make anappearance both of whom were fundamental in keeping the score to 0.0 at the end. The final third saw Kirstie come back on to the field and was unlucky not to score the winning goal. Georgina played some blinding football and was later awarded player of the match. My thanks go to the team, who are a pleasure to coach and all credit to them for a very respectable score for their first match.Keep it up. Jo
