The annual cricket match between Scotton JFC & Scotton CC is scheduled for sunday 15th at Scotton Cricket Ground. Starts at 2pm and normally all wrapped up for about 5pm.
This game is for all parents & coaches of Scotton JFC to get involved so whether or not you can play cricket or if just fancy trying your hand at cricket for the first time please let Andy Black know asap of your availability.
The game is played in a very friendly spirit with everybody getting a chance to bat and bowl and generally having a bit of fun.
Scotton Cricket Club has a fully licensed bar and Scotton JFC will have a BBQ again with the best burgers in Yorkshire supplied by our sponsors Damn Yankee.
Everybody is welcome and even if you don't fancy playing and could a lend a helping hand with the BBQ please let Andy Black know.
Otherwise just get yourself there on the day and enjoy a great afternoon with great company and enjoy a cheeky relaxing drink on a (hopefully) sunny afternoon.
Then the sunday after, 22nd September, its the turn of the Football Club to take the Cricket Club on in the return leg with a football match at Percy Fields. KO time TBC.
