Scorchers Players Take On Sunderland and The Borough

Three of Scorchers players were in action over the half term representing the York Football Centre of Excellence. Here is a matchday report from one of them!

We all got up at 7.00 o'clock in the morning on Wednesday 25th October, we had breakfast got changed and went out the door. It took a long time to get there, we slept in the car. There were a lot of people there, with three teams, there was Sunderland, Middlesbrough A and B.

We played Middlesbrough B first and won 2.1. then we had a bite to eat then we warmed up for the next match, playing Middlesbrough A team losing 2.0. We then had a bite to eat and got warmed up to play Sunderland. We drew 1.1 but Gail our coach was very proud of us. Then it had finished we went and got changed and went home. My Mum was proud of the team as we have only been together 2 weeks!!!
